The car you always promised yourself - or so the advertisers said. Capri was an instant hit, 4 seats with a sporty image meant you could have a family and enjoy your transport. Quite entertaining to drive round corners but no mistaking the impact Capri had.Made a nice looking convertible also
Notes
Capri I had some changes in its lifetime, becoming known as Capri 1.5. Main visual changes were to side vents, rear light clusters and front lights & indicators. Interiors were also revised.
Sales
The RS2600 was a German built Ford which was stripped out in order to keep weight down. A real flyer which became more heavy throughtout production
