The Cortina Mk I was sent to Lotus for engine work and lighter body panels to turn a humble saloon into a superfast saloon. Distinctive white with green flash paintwork made it stand out from the crowd.

The Lotus Cortina was popular with Police Forces, it seated 4 but had lively performance and handled very well. This is a version from the West Sussex police force.
