----- January -----

Xsara
The Xsara has dominated rallying in recent years, it started as a 2wd kit car but
Citroen realised what a capable full-blown WRC car it would be.
It's story is as much about Seb Loeb, a perfect partnership.

----- February -----

Stratos
The Stratos was a purpose built rally & race car. With compact dimensions and massive
amounts of power it dominated rallying in the 70's and was still winning in 1981.
An awesome rallying machine.

----- March -----

Impreza
Even Subaru couldn't have imagined the success they would have with Impreza when
this first one was launched on the rallying world.
Impreza has evolved through several types but each one is a success.
High perfmance cars with ability by the bucket-load.

----- April -----

Escort
The Ford Escort is the most recognisable rally car of all time.
Quick and rugged, equally at home on gravel and tarmac this car had it all
... and then some.

----- May -----

Quattro
If the name Quattro doesn't send a shiver down your spine then you
haven't realised it's impact on rallying.
Audi took 4 wheel drive (only good for tractors) and made it work
in high performance rally cars
Quattro's grip was immense and soon everyone in rallying was doing it!

----- June -----

Evo
Mitsubishi had the best driver in the late 90's if not always the best car.
The Evo's gave Tommi Makinen 4 world titles and in Evo V form also the manufacturers title.
Proving to be the car to beat from '96 to '99

----- July -----

Alpine
The Alpine delivered the first world title in 1973 but had dominated rallying long before then.
Take a reasonably powerful Renault engine in a plastic bodied car
Take a dash of French flair and great handling
The result - a fantastic rally car.

----- August -----

206
The Peugeot 206 was a highly competitive rally car, it won even more titles than
the legendary 205 T16 group B car.
Nimble, quick and reliable - this car had it all

----- September -----

Celica
The ST185 GT4 Celica is the best of the Celica's.
Most have been very competitive and this one filled the void left by the Lancia Delta.
It gave 3 makes titles and 2 driver's titles in the early 90's.

----- October -----

Delta
Quite simply the best rally car of all time.
6 successive world makes titles between '87 and '92
Plus 4 drivers titles in the same period.
In 1988 it lost only one rally !!

----- November -----

Mini
The Mini brought a professional approach to rallying. It beat off more powerful, larger cars time and again
It's secret was it's agility and power to weight ratio.
An outstanding rally car

----- December -----

131 Abarth
The Fiat 131 Abarth looked a winner everytime it competed.
It was great on asphalt, great on gravel.
It was even good enough to take over from the Stratos as the Fiat group team car.
